Mary Penny Thompson first General Counsel of the NC Department of Environmental and Natural Resource
NCBA member Mary Penny Thompson has become the first female general counsel of the North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources. Thompson succeeds Dan Oakley who retired July 1. Thompson has a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and her law degree from Tulane.
